What is Missions Ministry About?
Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...
... baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Jesus promised He would build His Church, Matthew 16:18. As His Church we have been called to make followers, i.e. apprentices, of Jesus
How are we pursuing this mission?
Partnering with Gospel-centered missionaries and their ministries, both locally and abroad, to make the name of Jesus known through making disciples and by caring for widows and orphans.
"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this...
James 1:27
...to visit widows and orphans in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

Mission Spotlight

In partnership with Compassion International, The Bridge Christian Fellowship has taken a special interest in sponsoring children from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Please click the tab "sponsor a child" and see the children still waiting to be sponsored!
With enough sponsors Compassion will coordinate a trip for the Bridge Christian Fellowship to go and actually meet the children they are sponsoring. Follow this link https://vimeo.com/827792133 to watch Norah Burundi, a Compassion Alumni, meet her sponsors for the first time.

What Does Child Sponsorship Provide?
Child sponsorship introduces children to Jesus, showing them the truth of the good news in action through critical care. Child sponsorship equips a child with education, medical care, safe community, protection from abuse, nutrition support, disaster relief and a voice of their own.
Your monthly donation enables local pastors, tutors and volunteers to care for and protect a vulnerable child in their community.

What Sets Them Apart
Compassion International shares the hope of the gospel in word and action, releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. We care for vulnerable children — mind, body and soul — with programs delivered through local churches in their communities.

Christ-centered: Jesus is at the center of everything Compassion does, so every child in their program hears the gospel and sees it in action through local church pastors, volunteers and sponsors around the world.
Church-driven: They empower local churches in impoverished communities to serve children in need. These churches become consistent sources of light and hope, representing Christ, making disciples in their communities and caring for children as they grow.
Child-focused: They care for each child’s unique right-now and long-term needs. Given the care they need, children become thriving followers of Jesus, transforming their families, communities and nations.
